Good effort! I have used ProD for some time now (I'm a DT Teacher). I may just use this video as a teaching aid if you don't mind. The lack of audio / description will be an advantage as it means the kids will have to explain the process!

@okayillgonow Hi thanks for viewing. Yes the chamber beneath the mould, where the platten is housed, has the air pumped out to create a vacuum drawing the hot plastic down over the mould. The direction of flow can be swapped so that as the plastic cools it can be blown up and away from the surface of the mould.

Does it require a vacuum pump? Or is the self-cooling of the plastic enough to form the required shape?

thanx for that. to be fair I wasn't trying to explain vac forming so much as exploring animating the 3d model.

Was only trying out techniques to produce the slumping effect, anyhow what do you need to know?
