The Lodge on the Loch's owners are Derek and Jean McCulloch.
Derek built the nine hole golf course in 2004 after leaving a 30 year career in the oil industry and purchasing the land surrounding the Aboyne Loch.

Jean is a complimentary therapist with over 16 years experience and believes that by offering Zen like tranquillity only 40 minutes from Aberdeen, visitors can indulge in a wealth of treatments.

With an exotic blend of natural botanical products, aromatherapy oils, spices and warm stones, visitors can experience time honoured therapies in stunning surroundings.
