@blacksoilder10 Yea and he ran that in 2006? He hasnt even been close to that form...plus with his knee surgery that sidelined him. America's stacked with Gay, Clarke now Dix and most definetly we will see a new face for the 12trials. His 400m time as I recall is a 44 something. He can def get that down to a 43 with work. Its like saying xavier carter is comin thru for the 100m.

@mamowolde whaaaa??! spearmon has one of the fastest times in history in the 200m. have you even seen his 400m time? its not bad but its not on the same level as his 200. what r u talkin about
-
spearmon should just focus on the 400m. that be his best bet
-
Amazing indeed,Football,basketball,bas
eball soccer, tennis players, when they ve hampstring injuries, they are out for months and months,so i will say he was very impressive,But with all that said,He still cant beat Bolt. -
@blessedbranch oh yea I meant the World Championships but just let us just cross our finger that he is injury free coming the Olympics
-
It appears that Spearmon can challenge Gay in the 200m. Their speed is about identical. Spearmon just cannot run the turn well, so his speed isn't shown until he hits the straight and when it shows-he actually gains on Tyson Gay.

@b45100 I don't think Tyson Gay is out of the 2012 Olympics- He is out of this years World Championships though.
-
Spearmon's finish is AWESOME
-
Man it sucks that he got injured. I wanted to see him compete against Bolt in the 2012 Olympics. He is such a great athlete.
-
Damn
Really i dont think people who dont do the sport should talk about how hes running, because coming of a hamstring pull like what he had and to run a time like this is great. it shows that hes really recovering and he will show the world what he can do when the time is right.
