Here's a demo of the new Ampeg SVT based amp sim included in the just released (March 22, 2011) Eleven Rack Expansion Pack!

As I mention in the video, my bass is not the best nor am I an exceptional bass player BUT this new amp sim is INCREDIBLE and I can only imagine how great it would sound in more capable hands!

Basically just a simple drum track and bass, then part of an instrumental I am working on and then a little Steve Harris action! or my lame attempt at it anyway but it shows the capabilities of the Eleven Rack and how well you can record bass with it now! I for one am PUMPED about the addition of this amp for recording purposes.

Anyway I'm out for now - more videos to come!

I'll be posting the presets at www.elevenrackpresets.com for whoever is interested!

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for watching and for your continued support! Y'all RAWK!

  • Hey, dude. Since my last comment, I've been rethinking selling the Eleven Rack. Might work out for me after all. Question: Do you know if I can have to mics going in at the same time so that I can record a podcast with a co-host? I notice that there's only one mic input in the front. Suggestions? Much appreciated.

  • @georgeorlando705 You CAN have 2 mic's yes, but only one signal going through the 11R signal path (ie FX, Amp's, Cabs, etc..) and one would just be completely dry and basically direct to a dry ProTools, Logic, or whatever DAW you use track. You could however use a small mixer and connect 2 mic's to it, and run out of the mixer into the Eleven Rack and they'd obviously both share the same rack settings, FX, compression etc... Several ways to do it depending on your ultimate needs there.

  • I had very high hopes for the Eleven Rack, based upon some great YouTube vids. However, after 10 months, I'm really considering selling it. Having trouble with Pro-Tools; very inconsistent with tracks receiving signal, or having the correct drop-down list to select eleven rack as input. Playing a $3K PRS Custom 24 through it, and not too thrilled with the tones. Did some tweaking, some downloading of patches, but not convinced. Others sem to have great success with this unit. Disappointed.

  • @georgeorlando705 Yeah sorry to hear that - I was in your shoes there as well. I basically got it JUST for a ProTools interface mainly to begin with and like you was not so impressed with the presets, but once I figured it out, and got the tones I wanted, I was hooked and haven't looked back. I still have my Road King but sold my cab over a year ago and last time I even used it was for the last RK/11R video I did. I love it, but totally get where you are coming from. It's not for everyone.

  • Is that a real son at about 5:14 or is it just some loops etc? Sounds amazing

  • @brettaas Yes it's a song, but no loops except the drums... Its an instrumental I was working on at the time and it's all Eleven Rack guitar tones. Thanks! :-)

  • @Andyzlol Thank you! Well it was the bass line for "New Years Day" by U2 but obviously to a slightly different groove... LMAO

  • Nice demo...just wondering what's the song you were playing starting around 4:29

  • @PantallicaWRXT I'm not sure if I follow completely but yes you can use it as an interface with Cubase but you can only get the on-screen editor via ProTools.

  • quick question.. i'm getting the 11r soon and i was wondering up it is compatible with it's interface and all on Cubase by chance?
