  • @PAGoldenglovechamp06 - Okay. You pray for me. I'll think for you.

  • Dinesh used that same damn mosquito joke when debating Dawkins.

Perhaps you're right... He's not so militant, but he could use an ounce of sensitivity! He started off by attacking Christian values and beliefs and claiming that they have just as much sex, except they don't use protection as often. He also talked about being freed from the "shackles of religion" which is very derogatory language. Watch the Hitchens debate a year or so later at Prestonwood. I found that Hitchens had a much better attitude.

  • @meangreen4321 Dan Barker is hardly a closed minded militant atheist.

  • @kaduisaui

yeah, but were these kids prepared for this kind of faith assault? I'm positive that this is far too much for them to process at this stage in their life. Otherwise, I think it's a good thing, but perhaps they could have chosen a more open-minded, less militant atheist.

  • @meangreen4321 These types of debates should happen all over the World. Why protect young people from critical thinking? Debate should be taught in every school even faith based schools.

  • @meangreen4321 I agree with you but, in this case Dinesh knows better. Dinesh was taught a lesson in this debate about diligence and honesty but did he apologise? No. He went on to say Dan Barker must have hit his head and is the one being dishonest.

  • A Christian institution like this should have never had this sort of debate. This is unfair because most of these kids have never had their faith under attack like this.

I don't think Dan was being too kind... It reflects better on his own character. One should never assume another is deliberately distorting the text, especially in this context. It's better to give the benefit of the doubt.

  • 2:21 Dan barker is being too kind. Dan suggests Dinesh took quotes out of context by accident but no, Dinesh D'Souza IS deliberately lying. He lies for a living. He knowingly takes quotes out of context and in the same breath accuses his enemies of intellectual dishonesty. One day I will kick Dinesh D'Souza square in the nuts.

  • He feel and hit his head? talking about a lag of respect.

  • Blasphemers! Bow before Wotan!
