  • It's a shame that this guy had to play during the Jordan era. He was the 2nd best SG in the league for pretty much his whole career.

  • I think the NBA logo should change. Just pause at 2:05 mr Stern

  • RIP CITY!!!!

  • the first dunk was insane

  • @badpdx Fair points. As an overall player Drexler is quite possibly underrated when it comes to "greatest of all time" discussions and lists.

  • OMG did you see the dunk NO. 8 the guy defending drexler is very tall

  • @allytron: Clyde was not a showboat dunker by any stretch. That's why he always lost the slam dunk contest. His philosophy was to get the ball in the basket as efficiently as possible: taking off 10-12 feet away and holding the ball up high made it less likely anyone would block the shot. His best dunks came when something or someone interrupted this technique and he was forced to improvise. Left alone in a gym he was not spectacular.

  • @badpdx cheers, will take a look for those. i also just meant his general famed "glide" style - it's a bit boring. he always seems to have his arm up straight.

  • @LOCOFASHOBRA nice spot mate.

  • I suppose I should have said his alley oop dunk from Jerome Kersey in Game 4 of the first round against the Lakers in 1992. It's hard to find. The Andre Turner dunk is not.

  • @TallSomeone: I don't know that any of those guys consistently got "eye-level" with the rim, but they were consistently up in the 37-40 inch range on their dunks, while Clyde was not. However, Clyde was capable of getting up there when he wanted to: check out his dunk over Andre Turner, his alley-oop dunk in the second quarter against LA in the 1992 playoffs (which might be hard to find now that Patvilhauer's account is gone) and his dunk over Isiah Thomas in Game 2 of the 90 Finals.

  • @allytron: These aren't actually his best dunks. This is just a list the NBA put together. Probably only about three or four of these dunks belong in his Top 10. Check out (if you can find them) his alley oop dunk from Jerome Kersey in Game 4 against LA in 1992; his hand switching dunk against Louisville in the NCAA tournament in 1983; his dunk over Chris Dudley when he played for the Rockets, and the Andre Turner dunk.
