I converted from apathist (thought the god thing was all irrelevant really) to atheist or anti-creationist when I read Dawkins' rearguard action and I looked the the US. It scared me so much. I have slight interest in understanding how people could believe all the religion stuff. A PCS video makes me think they are ALL nuts which I know is wrong, but he makes it so easy to dismiss creationist claims as loony when you hear such utter nonsense.
cheers

Im an athiest, yet I agree, PCS should just (If he has too at all) put out a CD of his holy book, let people listen and decide for themselves, Personally, I think there quite possably was a man called Jesus (or simmilar) who was a jewish phillosopher of the time, but not devine or the son of any god, and his core message of peace and fellowship is important to look at, no matter your religious leanings.

@GetMeThere1--There is absolutely no way that you could come to that conclusion except through deliberate denial. It means everything because it states the obvious. There is white and there is black. There is good and there is evil and we see this evidence through the actions of human beings on a daily basis. And now you will ask me who's to say which is which. The wicked are good debaters, but wrong nonetheless.

@tardwhisperer "Who said it was to be taken literally?" Um, those many people who say so, that's who. And others don't--as you succeed in pointing out the obvious.
And that's the PROBLEM: the bible MEANS NOTHING, because the MEANING MUST BE INSERTED BY THE READER--therefore, it's arbitrary, and based on personal fantasy--not reality.

@GetMeThere1--Who said it was to be taken literally? There was no apple that was eaten. The serpent was not a snake, at least at the point of his seduction of Eve. Who told you that christians take the creation story of Genesis literally? Regardless of how long it took for things to be as they are, it takes an impressive amount of denial and refusal to even WANT to know what's really going on to be able to see the magnificence of creation and not know that it was intelligent design.

@Mogley52 Ya I'm pretty sure that this videos maker Believes God is behind Abiogenesis being that he is a christian.
Let VFX continue, he helps to create more atheists.

I appreciate this video. As an atheist, the one thing that bugs me the MOST about evangelicals is their INSANE and POINTLESS fight with evolution. I fail to understand why a LITERAL reading of genesis is necessary to christianity.
When they waste everyone's time fighting evolution they are only promoting ignorance.
