Microsoft Smoked by Windows Phone Contest Issue(Analyzed)

As you can see, the Galaxy S2 was the first to complete posting the picture to Facebook, and won by 6 seconds!!

The rules of the competition: Take picture from camera app and upload to Facebook as quickly as possible.

The finish line: As Ben himself said, the finish line is when the user completed posting the image to Facebook, and it doesn't include the actual data exchange of uploading the picture.

Android won fair and square. Android even went over and above by actually checking the status of the upload, while Windows Phone doesn't display the status (it sometimes will display an error in the Picture Hub but the user typically doesn't see the error).

As for the Microsoft video at the top, you can see Ben has pressed the last button to post it to Facebook at 20 seconds and the Galaxy II isn't finished the human interaction required until 22 seconds. WP7.5 takes roughly 5 seconds to take a photo and post it to Facebook then another 5 seconds to upload it.

Ben is using a Titan , it has better specs than the Radar you are using on the video- so your comparison is not the same , also they are using the same wifi hotspot which is fair , you are using either your router(depends on the bandwidth you have ) or your cellular carrier network (you don't specify on the video) , to resume your video is nonsense, cause is clearly you are not comparing under the same conditions using the same hardware.
