Vintage Electro Harmonix Small Stone Demo.

Here is a demo of my favorite phaser pedal. I am playing thorugh a late 70's (second version) Small Stone Phaser into a TS-808 into a Blankenship Variplex through a Kerry Wright 4x12 with 70's Celestion Blackbacks. The guitar is a James Tyler SE with vintage Duncan Hot Stacks and a Duncan EVH Humbucker.

Hi, great tone! I have the same small stone version (v2), but I get a volume drop when I engage the pedal and a further drop when I place the color switch in the 'up' position. I noticed that you don't seem to have such issues. Have you modified your pedal or have you just been lucky to get a good ss?

Thanks. There is a volume drop with all Small Stones. Mine does have a volume drop.

That's great lead sound from small Blankenship Amp. One doesn't need huge 100 Watts right? Could you send me some prices on those and some Diamond ?

@RACKDOCTOR wow that small stone sounds great!!! now i want the vintage version.. haha well what do you think are the differences between the two? im thinking a bigger "wave" with lower lows and higher highs with more clarity. what do you think??? much thanks -cj
