It takes less than 1 minute to heat up and brew a cup of Senseo coffee. It takes no less than 4 minutes to brew a French Press. Seems like an easy choice (BUT ONLY SEEMS LIKE IT!!!!!!)

  • that should read: "simply isn't so superior..."

  • I'd rather drink the French press. I've never seen espresso crema that white. Looks horrid.

  • Macy Gray?!?!?! It's Nora Jones!!!!

  • @cheech6971 Macy Gray

  • @syscrusher Its not an espresso machine...

  • French Press, proper water(boiled and rest for about 30 sec so it's around 93-96°c or 200-205°F) and quality freshly grounded coffee makes the perfect cup. Senseo coffee is not hot enough and it's very difficult to get bold coffee with lots of body to it with it.

  • I like this song, who is the artist?

  • you could not be more far off with the model a bmw crap. do not pay full price for one of these go to ebay or a garage sale. Nobody keeps these for very long. IT should be senseo vs Gas station Cappuccino. Now thats a fair fight.

  • I have a french press and a conical burr grinder... and guess what?

I haven't used them since I bought my Senseo Coffee machine. Freshly ground french press coffee simply so superior to Senseo's damn fine (two pods) cup of coffee that it justifies the time and trouble.

  • LOL, I make MY own pods right after I grind MY COFFEE in MY coffee grinder. The difference is the delivery system and the filter. The Senseo delivers it faster- HOWEVER, Javacurescancer has a point on the oils.

IMHO, French Pressing coffee is a waste of time now, I drank it for years. The Senseo is just faster more efficient.

Keep driving the Model A if you want, I'll take the new BMW.

  • you simply cant compare faux-espresso to french-press. just can't.
