  • well, well, 2011 is gone, here we are 2012. happy new year everyone. and we will surely have another tourism festival. till then, we will keep this video alive. keep checking description if anything comes up as a give away. thanks for all your comments and time. NAMASTAY

  • does anyone know if Americans living in other countries often gathered as an association of bla bla is doing anything to promote this festival ? bla bla = Association of Nepalese if bla bla country. they should do something to promote the tourism festival. send some folks back home. what do you think ?

  • @lolnepal it is a shame to let u know the things im going to say...but i see it highly important t let u know the bad sides of the video

    1. it is ridiculous how improper english has been used and quite a few swear words have been used.

    2. the video is a shame upon the pride of Nepal...seems like u r not promoting the beauty of Nepal but making a mockery out of it....

  • @blackmist273 We are bunches of Volunteers having Nepali tongue, and we are not 100% perfect in everything, oh yes, that would include "English" too. If this video made you wanna learn more about Nepal, then the concept worked. Still a lot of people don't know about Nepal, even were it is located--and it makes us feel sad. As for travel videos showing the beauty of Nepal, just hang in there. They are in the pipeline. If you have one, just respond to this video. Thank you so much for your input.

  • @lolnepal my bad. or our bad if speaking of the team. we see a lot of efforts through Nepalese living abroad. Just read a lot of news. Keep up the good work guys.

  • promote!!!!

there's no reason to promote now..

to show our guest(tourist) that Nepal is the poor country, political instability, scarcity of water, electricity and various other thingsss....

and yes if you come to nepal, there'll be lots of adventurous trekking, a walk from where u stay to the airport...

whatever it is but i still love my country, hate those politician and people who r on the politics......

    jai nepal

  • @slashrocksable u r right. But let us all pray that TOURISM; the REAL HAND that feeds Nepal remains as the #1 Thing in all Nepalese HEAD. Why do Bandhas and other stuffs only to hamper our tourism ? They often say but i hope it's true:

For Nepal to progress, Tourism has to flourish further, more jobs for Nepalese, more roads to villagers, and a stable government plus tough law for corruption.

  • @sushant888 new Nepali government need to tell the history of King Yalamber and ancient Kiratdesh(now Nepal) and how Yalamber was instrumental in fighting Krishna in Mahabharata.

  • @diliprai man i admit ranas fucked up nepal by imposing their selfish laws and banning education fo common people.but dont blame other rulers.kiratis were once rulers too.what did they do?nothin.man no rulers in nepal have been stable and efficient in terms of country's development till date.dun blame a specific caste,if u kiratis had the ability and sum brain,u wood have overtaken ranas or whoeva n take charge and develop this couintry..yes almost all politicians are corrupt which includes all.

  • Nepal became one of the poorest counties because the shah-rana government discriminated the indigenous communities. The shah-rana rulers made Nepal as a tool for making money for them but not for the nation. For example according to Deepak Bhatt of Combat Law, the top position of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) remained with only four clans. That is for close to 200 years, among the 37 chiefs of staff, 26 came from the Rana family and the remaining 11 from the Thapa, Shah and Basnet clans.
