I always got within the top three for speed. You just make the front really thin and have it smoothly go up to the top of the provided wood at the back, put the pennies in the back as well up to the highest weight allowed, and you get a really fast car! Never won the design contest though :D

Been involved with pinewood, My son is 34 yrs old, my grand son did his first race last month.. What a Great Track You Have,, seen nothing like it.......
