I'm mormon and I do NOT hate or have a problem with gays. I just do not agree on there view of marriage thats all. If anything I'm the one that feels discriminated against for being a mormon. Whatever happened to religous discrimination?

Thinks have changed since 2000.

Prop 8 discriminates against a minority in the society. The people who vote for 8 are finding all kind of wrong excuses to justify their act of discrimination and intolerance towards the gay community.
Remember when Hitler 'disagreed' with the Jews.
Say NO to Discrimination and Hate.
Say NO to 8.

Oh, and for the record, I am definitely not a Mormon or anything like that. I just think that marriage should stay between one man and one woman. (wow, how bigoted that must have sounded) - I don't want my kids to go through the junk that is going on in Mass. right now. And don't give me that bull that it won't happen in CA because it already has.

How about all the Kindergartners in Hayward California that had a surprise gay day. No parental notification and no option for opting out. They showed pictures of healthy families and ONLY showed SAME-SEX families posted throughout the halls and NOT ONE posted of a Heterosexual Family. It doesn't get more bias and pushy than that. You can google hayward california surprise gay day for kidergartners and worldnet has an article on it.Vote Yes, there are no limits in place in CA Code.Vote Yes on 8!

Children who are not gay, will not become gay. I grew up as a member of the LDS church and was involved in cub scouts, little league, had a paper route, went camping, and was basically like all other boys, but... I happen to be gay. Unfortunately, I spent 20 years in fear of losing the love of my family because society taught me discrimination, ignorance & fear. Protect all children! Please vote NO on Prop 8 to ensure equal rights to everyone. Don't teach discrimination to your children-No on 8

Remember Rosa Parks? When you vote, please remember why she refused to sit in the back of the bus, even though the bus took her to her destination. She refused to be relegated to a second-class citizen status. Her actions on civil rights stood on the principles dignity, equality, fairness, and justice. Voting yes would show opposition to the values that America is fighting for.
Also, schools don't teach about same-sex marriage as they don't for domestic partnership unless parents consent.

Why are Christians so bent on the Passive Aggressive approach of Hate the Sin but love the sinner? Don't patronize me. I don't need your love. Love to me is unconditional. Get it right... Its all about hating homosexuals. period. Lets call a spade a spade.
