Oh, the translation's fine; it flows better and feels more natural in English. I was just showing some of the order and emphasis of the original.

The lyric ISSSS AAAMMMMAAAZZZIIINNGGGGG I can even rememeber this whole song ^^
-
I just copied and pasted it off of a translation site.

I love that dip at 3:29

Those last two lines are my favorite, and I think they're even a little more powerful in Japanese. Without getting too deep into the grammar, the order's reversed and there's more emphasis on "you". Something like:
"Making breakfast for three, it's you
Standing there."
-
Oh my god. The lyrics
"The chilly days continue, even though it's already spring
On a morning when I woke up earlier than the alarm clock
You're standing there
Making breakfast for three."
Just thinking about that after episode 16 in AS.. my god.

@ForBraig i agree with you about that. i honestly think that clannad has the most beautiful soundtrack i've eve heard. Well, Clannad and Black Rock Shooter. :D

2 people didn't want to cry

2 dislike? OH MY GODNESS.

omg.. this song gives me a weird awesome feeling. You know what I mean? LIke the anime makes you feel sweet and happy.
The music does stand on its own, but I highly recommend looking up the lyrics. They're beautiful and powerful, and were written by Jun Maeda, the author of the original visual novel. The song loses most of its connection to the story without them.

@aleksander300
when you can say a song is wonderful and yet you don't understand the lyrics then it is indeed truly wonderful. Music is not about words. It's emotion as well and rhythm, and this song can get its message across.
