Oklahoma thunderstorm rolling in

This was just South of Stillwater, Oklahoma in July 2009.

Many times, within the time period of one day, I have seen quite a variety of clouds in the Oklahoma skies...clouds either passing through coming from another state...or actually forming overhead...sometimes both happening at the same time!

Who needs to cram their heads into cable TV all the time when you can enjoy the live action of the magnificent view on the "big screen" overhead...all we have to do is look up...for free...

When I'm storm chasing I do think about that lightning. But when a tornado is forming or on the ground, I step out of my truck to get video, but only if there's no rain or hail falling on my location. I just stay away from the trees and the powerlines if I can help it. That to me is the one thing I worry some while storm chasing. Lightning is so fast. Nice vid on this storm, it has that Oklahoma storm look.

@cooliesass Cable T.V. is awesome. However, I do love storms. It doesn't storm all the time which is good because it would flood like crazy if it did.

Haha this reminds me so much of Iowa. Cicadas and super cell thunderstorm shelf clouds rolling in, hot humid day suddenly becoming cold and windy.
