Why don't you play the game regularly and record a demo(in-game) of yourself playing. Then turn on fraps and playback the demo you recorded earlier. That way it doesn't interfere with your actual gameplay.

well it was all of a sudden, didn't really have time to start a demo and then re-record it, otherwise i would have missed out most of the stuff

i think that's what i did... not sure, it was a while ago, but it was all of a sudden, i only realised when people said it half way so i don't know :\
