A fun hiking activity, but be careful to not push real hard at first as tree can snap in the middle and come down on your head.

  • That's all fine and dandy (I used to do it), but dead trees make habitat for animals and (harvest-able) mushrooms can grow on them for about a decade.

    I would rather tip a cow. Meat pre-tenderizer...

  • These are dead tulip trees and have never seen mushroom or fungus growing in and around them. Lighten up, my 11. y.o. son didn't kill the planet!
