@Ariamaluum i was wrong it was riley odoms now thats a nice hit he put on him.
-
@panthers7775. That was Dick Butkus laying on Charlie Sanders for the Lions. But he did hit Riley Odoms and nailed Rocky Bleier with a forearm which he was fined 750 dollars due to the fact that Howard Cosell went crazy on that one during his MNF telecasts and called for his punishment. Maybe, he could go against big guys but not against Howard and his lawyer skills.

@panthers7775. Darryl was only 6 feet and 185 Ibs compared to Larry Csonka who was 6'3 235 Ilbs. But Jack did hit Earl Campbell. Maybe, he had a white guy complex. Who knows?
-
@Ariamaluum or that TE the lions or rams had who was like 6'4 240 and he lit into him like theres no tomorrow
-
@Ariamaluum that means nothing jack tatum always hit guys bigger then him what are you even saying? daryl stingley was alot bigger then him look what he did to him , larry csonka was a animal
-
@HaywoodZarathustra. Herman Edwards. Larry was 6'3 while Jack was barely 5'10 and that is not including the offensive line of the Dolphins like Bob Kuechenberg, Jim Langer, and others who kept him in line.
-
@Ariamaluum Well, did you ever read Jack Tatum's books? He says he never got the better of Larry Csonka, who used to routinely punish him. Regarding Floyd Little, he says he used to beat Floyd to a pulp, LOL. Paraphrasing, "I'd hit poor Floyd and his eyeballs would roll back into his head. Floyd would wake up on the sideline with train whistles blowing in his ears."

There a bunch of Hall of Famers in this game

@ebf1957 Sorry douchebag.

No need for name calling asshole.
Floyd Little was a better back than Larry Csonak in college and the in the pros.

Eh.. 2 different types of running. One thing's for sure though, they both could still play in this day and age.

I not talking about styles. Floyd could kick, catch, and return punts. He did it all. Larry could ram through but in college and his first two years with the Dolphins, he lead with his head which made him susceptible to leg tackles but small guys. Then Shula taught him to lead with his forearm. Of course, Larry had Jim Kiick and Mercury Morris while Floyd had nobody till Otis Armstrong came later in his career.

I didn't realize Little played long enough to play with Otis Anderson. I'm guessing it was in Otis's days with the Cards???
