I don't think in all my years i have ever seen a worse performance from a Northern Ireland team. It was a disgrace.

Whatever happened to pride, to effort, to passion and to commitment? Bar Maik Taylor not one player emerged from this fiasco with any credit whatsoever.

It has to be down to Nigel Worthington. If he can't motivate a team to beat the likes of Albania (no disrespect to them, they were excellent) then its time to step aside and let someone else have a chance.

First, Albania is given little credit, I mean last friendly they played they beat Cyprus 6-1. Yet still Northern Ireland was non-existant in the first half. That first half was dominated by Albania and they should have had another 2 or 3 goals. The second half was a different story, with all the substitutions Northern Ireland got the better and dominated it, and they should have scored a couple! Either way, pitch was poor too, but our players are not used to playing on it either, fair game!

The irish are good fighters and they never stop trying..but albanians are very crafty and they fight with spirit, heart and pride..and thats something tough to beat even by the big european teams.

I agree with you....but i just don't think that Albania are good enough to be battling with teams like France or Romania. Although, there is nothing more I would like for both Bosnia and Albania to go through :)

No one is saying that Albania will win the world cup. relax bosnia! You guys have the strongest team in the Group. France is not deserving of a first pot team. Romania is not the Romania of old. Its not an impossible task to achieve 2 or 3 in this group. I do believe Bosnia will finish first, and France and Albania will most likely battle for 2 and 3. I really dont believe in Romania's strength, especially with Mutu's and Chivu's problems, but you never know. The ball is round!!
