Cyclassics 2011 - Das Rennen

'Entscheidendes Bewegen' für Diabetes und Radsport fährt beim Vattenfall Cyclassics - Jedermann - Rennen die 100 KM. Der Filmbericht über die diesjährigen Vattenfall Cyclassics zeigt die Hektik eines Rennens, wir sind hier mit 5 Typ I - Diabetikern ( völliger Insulinmangel ) gestartet. Als zusätzlicher Rennparameter zählt für Diabetiker immer die Höhe des Blutzuckers, es ist halt wichtig, nicht zu unertzuckern, da hier dem Körper dann sprichwörtlich die Energie fehlt, um Leistung zu erbringen. Es ist ein
wichtiger Rennparameter neben vielen anderen wie Herz- und Trittfrequenz, Materialwahl usw., wenngleich ein ziemlich wichtiger, ähnlich wie in der Formel I die Treibstoffversorgung der Boliden. Mit dem entsprechenden Training, Leistungsdiagnostik und
Testen von Belastungen sind auch bei einem Rennen wie den Cyclassics gute Zeiten möglich, was 3 von uns mit einer Zeit von unter 3 Stunden mit einem Alter von deutlich über 40 Jahren, bewiesen haben. Gleichzeitig ist der Film eine Hommage an den Veranstalter, die Stadt Hamburg, und die Zuschauer.

'Moving Decisivly' for diabetes and cycling drives the Vattenfall Cyclassics 100 kilometres race. The film report about thhis years Vattenfall Cyclassics demonstrates the hectic of a race, we did start with 5 type I diabetics ( totally insulin-deficient ) . As an additional parameter for diabetics, the blood glucose level counts, it is important not to fall into hypoglycemia, because the body hasn't the energy for bringing the power. It is an important parameter amongst many others like heartrate or cadence, choice of material, although a quite important one, similar to fuel supply at the fomular one races. With an appropriate training, performance diagnostics, and testing of loads, there are such physical benefits possible, as made during the Cyclassics race, 3 of us did the 100 kilometres below 3 hours with an age noticeably above 40 years.
The film is simultaneously a hommage for the organizers, the city of Hamburg and the spectators.
