Good man, included a first aid kit. So often overlooked.

That's a nice little kit. Good job.

Get a Zippo lol.

A firestarter and a bic. Both are compact and light. Have a back up for something as critical as fire; heat-rescue-water. Also don't ever plan to use your shoe laces for anything but keeping your shoes on. Extra cordage IS shoe lace material. Keeping your landing gear 100% ready is good.

just get a firestarter......dont get a stupid bic lighter

great ideas! I would add either a poncho or a space blanket for shelter

If you'd still like to have a line in the water you can use the bark off of young elm/maple trees as line and the thorns off of the honey locust tree as hooks and a rock as a sinker. In my opinion it works better than modern fishing gear but what do you expect from a half blood cherokee

I'd say drop the fishing stuff. Fish traps work while you aren't, I'd also say drop the fire starting material and throw some a magnesium block in there along with a few .22 rounds (nothing takes a spark quite like black powder or magnesium shavings) and go pliers!! You can cut nearly anything with a knife that you can with scissors. Great vid and kit!

Yes i do go to the wilderness. I have been busy with work and grad school for the last year and have not been able to go often. I recently began doing videos though, I used to just carry a disposable camera on trips. I will have videos soon from trips. I have two planned very soon.
