During the second week of ballroom dance camp, 15 kids ranging in ages from 5-13 came together to learn a high energy, crazy disco cha cha in only 4 days of instruction (1.5 hours each day). It looks like 4 days wasn't enough. You should of spent longer time because I see most of them don't even know the routine fully. I'm not even going to talk about technique-there wasn't one.

You're right, to get it performance ready it wasn't nearly long enough. Many of these kids had never danced a day in their lives before this camp. We weren't going for technique and perfection, we were going for a fun introduction to ballroom dancing and getting them interested in enrolling in technique classes. For our limited time and their limited or non existent past dance experience, it went great! Because of this, 15 more kids love ballroom dance. Perhaps they'll even be future champions.

Having taught beginning dancers for more than 14 years I have to say WOW! You did a good job catering to such a large age range. And some of these dancers have never danced before? My hat is off to you!
