In this video, I take a look at the class 37 in EWS livery by Vi-Trains. This model is DCC ready and I have fitted my own cab lights to it using grain of rice bulbs

Not sure how yoy spell it but it's 'Richard Trevithic', or that's how you pronounce it. He was the man who made the first steam locomotive

I'd love to see this and your other loco's on a layout, especially the hornby DCC sound 08 class

@istich123 - you actually can mate, there is videos on my channel called layout part 1, 2 etc which feature a variety of all my locos new and old running and whats more it is all DCC controlled apart from the pointwork :-) There will be a video coming very soon of the 08 with sound, it's sat on my laptop waiting to be edited at the moment along with other videos to be uploaded, although am busy at the moment with work and sorting college out but new videos will be on my channel every Friday

@istich123 - ah cool, thanks for letting me know :-) I suppose we all pronounce it differently

@ApacheBravo - no worries, glad to help. I've still got 3 different liveries to upload yet.... all Vi-Trains 37's :-) they run absolutely perfect, they are fitted with hornby R8249 loco decoders which I now prefer over bachmann 8 pin ones. Ah a problem with the 47? I don't rly like Vi-Trains 47's :-( not as good as bachmann 47's which I prefer rly :-)
