Here is a flyover of a newly finished encaustic (beeswax) and surf photogrpahy wave. The highly textured surface can be seen as well as the glassy blue and green hues. Artist Ben Hecht uses his original surf photography (here Kauai) with encaustic (beeswax) paints to create his unique compositions.
