On public works projects landscapers earn $18-35 per hour. They are way above a LIVING WAGE.

What you don't seem to understand is white bread American boys/men won't do the work....Cathy pays well over minimum wage. Where does it say they don't pay minimum wage!!! Check your facts, or lack thereof. YOU are the perfect example of ignorance spewing hate without knowledge or understanding, or the effort it takes to attain it. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

If posters are concerned about wages in the US, I suggest looking to big corporations rather than small family run businesses and illegal immigrants. Walmart is way more destructive to the US economy.

She needs to pay the minimum wage to EVERYONE! IF she had to pay it to immigrants, they wouldn't WANT immigrants. She's a perfect example of stingy greedy A-holes. What bugs me about this debate is that I can't imaging jobs that no American will do. It does seem more that employers don't want to pay instead of Americans not wanting to work. I may not ever want one of these jobs now-a-days, but I've crawled off the minimum wage bottom, and wouldn't want that denied to low wage Americans. I don't see creating a sub-class of workers helping Americans.

problem w/america is evryone thinks they should be rich. we think if you open bsness, any bsness you get rich. look at kathy's lifestyle & wealth. she don't get US workers cause she doesn't want to share wealth. she wants to keep 95% of profits & pay $7/hr which in Cali is slave wage. As a repub, she's also against univ health care but, she doesn't want to pay for hlthcre for workers. if you want end to mex immigrtn, arrest people like kathy & put them in jail. no job, no immigrnts.
