  • Deborah has the best lips of any woman, probably ever!

  • I mean, check out those lyrics! "I can divinate your presence from afar" - awesome. She never gets credit for her lyrics. The most deadly mix of :

    - beauty

    - voice

    - lyrical writing ability

    - fashion sense

    - coolness and hip factor

in the history of modern music. And it all works because she is never trying to force anything. She just lets it all happen. Its almost criminal how talented she is.

  • @chupimoth1 Most of their songs are actually not pop, they actually have an equal amount of pop and rock songs and even quite a few punk songs. It's just that their biggest hits are pop and dance songs so most people and the media label them as purely a pop band but that's not accurate at all.

  • @ahhhitsrob This song is totally "rock" to me, not pop. It's quite aggressive and has a strong sharp biting guitar sound to me and her singing is very sneery and edgy and also the tempo is quite fast. A good example of a pop song from Blondie is Sunday Girl, if you can't tell the difference between this song and Sunday Girl then get your ears checked! Definitely a rock song in my book, not even close!

  • ^^ i know what you mean ...so sexy

  • @chupimoth1 Well they were a pretty rocking band to start with, I'll give them that but yeah they're a pop act. A good one I must say.

  • @ahhhitsrob Check Detroint 442, one way or another, hanging on the telephone etc... But particularly I agree, many of their song are almost pop.

  • Happen Nippon Japan:) thx u Blondie@:D

  • What I've been loving about Blondie is that everything seems so easy. No TMj or tense forehead. I do not follow them anymore, but she is a Dame

  • Esa debe ser la actitud.

  • Debbie,will you marry me?

  • @ahhhitsrob-I never bought into the whole rock/pop distinction. Early rock was pop, like the Beatles. It's when rock starts branchng off from pop, as with today, that it tends to wane and kids start looking elsewhere for music with a pulse. And they were a first wave punk/new wave band, going back to 74. They anticipated trends. There 1st album in 76 was one of the first new wave albums before the the term was even used. Beyond that it's all semantics (punk/new wave/pop/rock). It's just music.
