But when I think over most (Hollywood) movies...they are about love and loss. I think it needs a lot of creativity to find sth new. But maybe I didn´t you understand you right, English isn´t my mothertongue...

@miggydscho Of course - but myy point was that it would be good pedagogy for the tutors to point out this type of common artistic pitfall to the students - especially as it is fairly blatant just on youtube clips alone

All of student work is predictably adolescent and just about destruction - almost without exception. This complete failure of imagination is very tedius. Should´t they be learning to become somewhat adult and at least start attempting some originality?
