@ColtonKuhn1 Not in the tank with the fuel. ZDDP goes in the engine with the motor oil. Newer oils in the last few years now have no ZDDP which is an additive that lubricates parts in the valve train area of the cylinder heads and the cam shaft. - Thank you for watching my video.

@jims59DOTcom so i am going to be driving my 1970 coupe deville daily and i do tend to be hard on my cars to be honest but all of my old cars have held up just fine. why do i have to put oil in this cars tank and not say my old 69 mercury cougar i had or my old cuda?

@elviscash56 Actually this is what people say. Yes, there are valve train lubricants for lead replacement to lubricate the valve guides. But when the cars are not driven very many miles, this is really not critical. It runs fine on unleaded gasoline and as it is not driven "hard" it will not suffer engine damage. What is important is to add ZDDP to the oil for lubrication of the camshaft bearing surfaces. Thank you for watching the video.
