One of the best retro-Spector/girl-group sounds here, entitled "My Boy" from the Jodelles, who were lead singer Jo Kester and Trinidadian-born twins Anne and Annis Peters. The twins had previously worked as backing singers for Billy Ocean, and Jo had been an actress. Their career was brief - they were put together for a TV talent show in 1983, which they won. They cut two singles: "My Boy" b/w "The Choo-Choo" (a 60s-style dance number), and followed up with another equally fab Spector-styled cop, "Girls Fall In Love", which reprised "My Boy" on the flipside. Production honours go to Ken Gold, who was the man behind the board for the Real Thing's 70s hits, such as "You To Me Are Everything" and "Can You Feel The Force" and who also produced Billy Ocean, Delegation and Ritz.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS SONG,..in 1983, when my wife and I drove all through England and Scotland (in a cool red Jag), this was on the radio all the time along with "Moonlight Shadow" by Mike Oldfield - sadly, when we returned to the good old U.S. of A...neither was ever played here...shades of Spector's Ronnettes
