I would recommend a few years of (long distance) driving experience, especially in a busy city like Dublin because you have to be prepared for anti social drivers (yes you have them there as well, lol) I was overtaken on the left there where the driver was supposed to overtake me on the right (drive left, overtake at the right, just the opposite as on the continent)

I had to stay behind the bus when it stopped because I drove a left hand drive, so I couldn't see the opposite traffic to pass the bus.

It wasn't a night mare at that moment, it was when i drove off the ferry and then entered Dublin at rush hour :(
