U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey collapses, 11/20/2008

U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey collapsed while giving a speech Thursday at the Federalist Society dinner at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.

While Mukasey, 67, was talking, his speech began to slur and he then became rigid. Two people grabbed him and laid him on the ground behind the podium, where he was given emergency first aid by his security detail and a doctor on the scene before he was rushed to George Washington Medical Center.
