nearly 20 years later and I am reminded about how fucking cool and propthetic they were back then....

@marknaki123 huh?

7:07 wow... its as if Bono at the time is describing 'white rock' in 2010!
I view ZOO TV era as an attempt also to push or progress Rock N' Roll into the future via a Cyberpunk aesthetic or channel. But for some reason Rock in the USA as he puts it went "retrogressive".
Which is EXACTLY how I view modern rock today... hockey, plaid shirted (still!), bearded artsy fartsy, whimpy, hipster Rock that's just so... dull.
HaGrunge kids! Yeah... well, we still have them now Bono.
ZOO TV forever.

you know what i find amazing about Zoo TV? U2 made ZERO money from it. they only broke even.
same with Popmart.

@ExtacyOfMorbidDeath The most interesting tour that a band could do ever!

@virnan Best ultraviolet IMO is from the TEXAS show from zootv. I have heard tons of live versions and YES, it puts the washington clip to shame.
IMHO I don't think U2 will ever be able to capture the way they play Ultraviolet again. I think the best time they played was in Washington clip. The way they play Ultraviolet now on the 360 isn't even close.
