Save Our Florida Public Schools -HD

This video was produced by Production for Progress to help put a face on the continued cuts to Floridas Education budget. Last year in Orange county the state cut $70 million from the budget. This year they are cutting $240 million for the 2009-2010 budgets. These cuts are detrimental to our community and our childrens future. It is the States RESPONSIBILITY to provide adequate education to our Children. Florida ranks 50th in the country for public school funding. Our Florida State Government MUST STOP cuts with whatever means necessary. The people of Florida must hold our legislature accountable; our future depends on their immediate action and resolution of this economic crisis in our school system.
