@TheBURGE6683 vertical damp has to be cut into the existing brickwork. The corner your building against is an outside wall and its turning into an inside wall you have to stop the damp transfering from outside to inside. 1603mingers spotted it as well, good job building control didn't

@TheBURGE6683 u need to go back to college mush, (that's if u went) u should always install a vertical Dpm to stop the damp showing on the inside block work or even easier cut out the cavity on the existing building... You're right I don't think I would learn a lot from you!

good to see youngster starting out. ive been laying 9 years and never had an apprentice turn up looking for a start. not that they would learn alot from me.

@monkey1989ify Im with you mate, but profiles make you money, i converted after using them on a house and getting my 1st wage off them. Also there better doing plumb work for reclaims and handmade's, as you can lay them to the line. so stop tut tuting and go get yourself a set!

he doesnt need to level or plumb the brick. hes runnin a profile so only needs to match harris to harris and harris to line. same as running anything. as for the speed. weve all been slow to start and we all took shit for it. now ur slow to start its your turn:P what you doin in that corner for so long?? havin a wank?? lol. youll get there!!!!!
