Im 48 years old now. Back in the late sixties when I was about 7-8 years old. I saw One Touch Of Venus and I was infatuated with her. I didnt know anything about deep feelings. But I never forgot her once I saw her. It wasnt until I was in my teens that I saw her again as a aging mature actress. I saw her aging but I could still see her beauty. I have and will never ever forget her as one of the most beautiful woman who graced this earth.

Ava Gardner said to Veronica Lake: "With a face and figure like yours you could start a war." Lake replied: "I believe we are at war; the question is, can a face and figure like mine stop it?" Veronica Lake is said to have been so disarmingly beautiful that she looked as if she had been preserved on ice before each scene: her skin, hair, eyes - everything was perfect and peerless. I love both, but...Lake had me holding my jaw with both hands when I first saw her in This Gun For Hire.

Whenever I see Ava in a movie playing on Turner Classic Movies, whether it is black and white or technicolor, I am always astonished at how beautiful and photogenic she was. She was much more alluring than many other actresses of her day.

She has the most beautiful face in the whole universe

@basilnelson no problem it does sound a little like the theme from mahogany but I double checked and it definitely is from the phantom of the opera..

Unfortunately beauty like fame only last for brief moments in time
what song is this? I recognize it but can't recall.

There are two pieces of edited music in the soundtrack. The first is 'Theme from Mahogany' followed by 'Indigo Bay'.

@basilnelson The first song is actually an instrumental version of "All I Ask of You" from the Phantom of the Opera

@bluedrummergwyn Thanks for the additional information. I find some of my soundtrack music on the internet and it is not always correctly labelled.
