New Super Mario Bros Wii: World 9-7

Apperantly this level has been called the hardest in the entire game. Where was I when the Mario committee came up with that decision? I think 8-5 deserves that reward, this one falling in second. I think this is also the same comittee that determined a star MUST be used in this level.

This stage is definitelly the climax of World 9 in New Super Mario Bros Wii. It's full of ice platforms that melt from the fire of Pirana Plants and reveal snapping ground enemies or bottomless pits. Everything in this level exists to make sure you die, but it's built with speedrunning in mind unlike 8-5. This video shows one way to navigate this level while getting all the star coins, without getting hit, and starting as normal Mario.

BTW, sorry for the late post. For some reason my software got deleted and so did my driver for the Dazzle (my recording device). It took me a while to realise what the problem was, and fix it. I attempted this video 3 times, and both of the past 2 times failed. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! This is my gift to you!

I don't know about you, but 8-5 was pretty easy for me. Now this one was sadistic. And I loved it.

i actually went back and played 8-5. it was aweful, but not as bad as this level. it all depends, a simple run of 8-5 would be tougher, but for a get-everything run, they're both even in terms of difficulty. 8-5 has a few 20-coin boxes and horrendously placed coins and enemies, and the fact that it drags on for so long doesn't help either.

I wouldn't really say that. I mean, Tubular is hard in the sense it takes a while to get it down, but once you figure out where the P balloons are, it's a breeze. Outrageous is just a bitch.

5-Ermm... The one after the tower

8-1 (DARKNESS ARISING)

Easiest ones:

1-1 (Obviously)

7-6

6-2 (if thats the one with the pirhana plants)
