If you can find it, Three Mile Pilot's album "Another Desert Another Sea" is one of the most creative, coolest records ever made. I still play it even though it's nearly a decade old.

Another Desert, Another Sea is a fantastic album. No 3MP collection would be complete without the Geffen release of Chief Assassin to the Sinister. It's got Inner Bishop on there and I think it plays better than the Headhunter version. If you're lucky, you can find it at Lou's Records in Encinitas, CA.

I don't know anything about this band--in 1999 my friend Max brought me the "Desert" CD and warned me that it was "experimental" but I loved it! What's the story on 3MP? Did they break up? Are they back together? Somebody told me the band hated "Another Desert"--they said it sounded like Foreigner or something. Is that true?
