Charles Calhoun form the orginal Big Break....when I was playing my best golf and I have shots rounds of 64...so I can play this game more then the score I shot, I could always remember the outside of my left ankle would be sore the next day...foot work is the key to everyday movement, thats why the song goes...put one foot in front of the other and so you will be walking out the door....lol good stuff

correction to below,,,, seems like every pro has the right side of the left foot off the ground around impact
-
read the book Golf from the ground up ,,, number 1 fault in golf not getting 80 to 90% of your weight to the left side during IMPACT,,,,, seems like every pro has the left side of the left foot off the ground right after impact,,,, like you have a small roller under the middle of your left foot,,,, When college quarterbacks go to the pros the first thing they do is change their FOOTWORK,,,,,,,the bottom of the feet start any throwing motion ?????

Bradley I'm a very long hitter (Driver 340+ with stock 9.5*, stiff shaft Callaway - getting a proper long drive club made, Snead 3-metal (30+ years old) 290+, 3i 270+, PW 165 avg, etc. all at sea-level here in London, UK), and I've worn out so many pairs of golf shoes in the last 2-3years with the ground pressures I create it's a joke....anyone overlooking this stuff is missing out! Whilst Greg Norman was great at it, I'd say Mike Austin's foot work was the best
Footwork is taught extensively in older books, back in the old days nobody kept their left heel on the ground, nothing new here...all these examples are poor examples of good footwork....Norman was the worst, then Miller ant then Tiger, Maybe Casper was the best on this vid....

I struggle with early extension so have been hitting balls with the thought of trying to get my left hip to go diagonally south west, and twice in 9 holes with my driver my right foot did this. I have no idea how or why but I nailed both drives.

@ilovedavedunlop don't ask why just do!!!!! I am sure you are onto something....what you are doing there will be helping your pivot function better

This has been the biggest change to my swing and it has helped the most. I swing easier when my feet are ingaged correctly, and hit it longer and straighter. Thanks

@MrLeezett yes sir Leezett..you worked hard at this stuff and reaped the rewards and benefits of how much it shaped the rest of the swing also
