This is not hacking bro its a public ftp site, what did you hack if the owner of the ftp server cared he would have used a password, if you want to own learn to use ubuntu linux then after your comfortably using the command line try using backtrack, set up some windows xp vm's and try to own them using metasploit, once you got that down you can call your self a script kiddy, and when you writing your own exploits you can call your self a hacker / cracker .

if you wanna try the easy art of google hacking, typ this into the google search bar, - intitle:index.of - and it will find a bunch of pages like the one you used. i myself dont consider this actual hacking either, its more like searching for unsecure sites, but it is pretty nice to get free music and stuff from all sorts of places... no ads... no popups... just links :) oh and i recommend usin a web ripper if you are gonna do this, and if your downloading alot of stuff.

FTP servers hold pretty much every file you need for the server, from the webpage to the IP address to their router and so on and so forth.

it's base64 encode all you have to do is look up a program on the internet. no you don't need to crack it either.
