@squidfanny Much obliged! Good to know about the precision oscillator, I was about to buy a few of those and was curious. I'll save it for my keyboards.
-
I know! They were going for 15 bucks US just two years ago. Seriously annoying!
-
real talk! nice mod from a PRO owner.
-
Ha!
I hear that man, I hear that.
And once one sells for $200 quid everyone thinks they can get 200 for theirs.

Wanna keep the machine's name a secret 'cus otherwise the second hand ebay price will sky-rocket........ see the ridiculous ebay price's for casio sk's and roland tr-505's if you don't believe me!
I once saw a crappy casio rz sampling drum machine go for 200 quid on ebay! Incredible!

Me too.
Nice.
I would imagine it would be a hard machine to mod.
Mine is gathering dust at the moment.
Just one ?: why don't you identify it as an ASRX in the title, description, and tags?
I've been wanting to get back to bending after a hiatus and this bodes well! I have the red brother of this guy.. Any general advice?

First rule of 'bending an X is - Don't talk about 'bending an X. Second rule is - don't talk about 'bending an X........Only joking.
Advice? Yea, you want the 19 surface mount resistors, just above the big, flat OTTO 48 chip. If your soldering skills are good then you might also find some DSP Glitch on the ESP2 chip. Precision oscillators won't work, so save yourself some time trying this mod.
Peace

Awesome! Bending a sample seems like a good project, maybe I'll look into it... Have you bent any other sampler?

Yea man, a couple of casio sk's, a yamaha vss and an Akai s01. . . This one's certainly the most powerful though.
