i was at the athens2004 as volunteer; 3 days prior to the end of the games, i am having a late dinner with two friends at home, a us and an israeli sports journalist. i raised my glass toasting to the first gold medal for israel in my hometown... and it happened! stunningly, it happened. i rushed for 2 days to get an autograph of g.f. - pretty tough due to security; by a series of great coincidences + timing, my friend and another israeli cameraman volunteered to mediate and i got one...
