Aviation Artist Stan Stokes' Blue Angels F18 Ride

March 1992 Stan took advantage of an offer for a ride with a Navy Blue Angel. In this video there are many references to the "hook maneuver" which is a technique of tightening ones abdominal and arm muscles to maintain consciousness during G forces generated during intense maneuvers.

Thanks for posting this video. ^_^ It's really great to see Stan again !!! ^_^ This is the first time I've seen him, since I stayed with him in Palm Desert, California in 1987. He's a great guy, and I enjoyed the time I spent with him immensely. I often wonder where he is these days. Here's hoping I get the chance to meet him again, in the year or two ahead.
