@ArtCrimez On a whole different level, some of their songs are barely even recognizable from the orginals. But yes they sampled, it's no secret, and it's the fact they did it so well and on a whole different register, they sampled funk songs do make heavy techno songs. that's when sampling is pretty awesome.

If you're going to barely change something, acknowledge the original artist, he came up with the idea, not you.

In Daft punk's case, they came up with the idea.
