The Kipping Pull up is an integrated, dynamic, full-body version of a pull up popular as a conditioning exercise in the gymnastics world (and also in Cross-Fit). Here I explain how it can be a novel way to promote thoracic spine/ribcage mobility and scapulo-thoracic integration. The key is to initiate the movement from the thorax rather from the legs, with the latter simply going for the ride.
