This is a video that was conceived, written and produced by Mr. Scholl's Journalism I class at Carolina Forest High School. It was inspired the video "A Vision of Students Today." That video can be watched here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGCJ46vyR9o.

  • Pretty good, but hopefully you can build on it and get involved enough to make some kind of change.

Making video's is fun and dandy, but in order to get things done, you have to sacrifice.

  • I understand and agree with you to a certain extent. I am hoping my students will use this video as a beginning point for making more profound change, but producing a video is a part of "getting things done." Students who create media are definitely "making some kind of change." While it may have only limited effect, it is important that their attempts are not trivialized.

  • I'm from the UK (I know Dina kinda) and this video was really great. I'm gunna show it at my next college presentation =) And possibly to the guys at uni although it won't be as relevant there.

Really communicated a great and important message, was really impressed.

Also, noting on the video production, great timing, was well produced I thought.

  • great! loved it. we got to know what the kids need and what they don't need.

I would also love to see another video where they would convey their vision about what people/ the institution, etc have to do to provide them with what they need.

What does it take to be listened to? What's the alternative to 7 hours of sitting in a classroom? What can we replace standardized tests with? etc...

And believe me - I do agree with all those changes. They are needed and we need you to guide the way! ;-)

  • Thats was a great video, I recommend this video to others. GREAT JOB
