Jack Daniels and Maple Breakfast Sausage
Pork (ground) 2 Lbs
Maple Syrup 2 Tbsp
Sage (fresh chopped) 2 Tsp
Marjoram (dry) 1/2 Tsp
Thyme (dry) 1/2 Tsp
Black Pepper 1 Tsp
Red Pepper Flakes 1 Tsp
Salt 1 Tsp
Jack Daniels 2 Tbsp
1) Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and blend with a fork, just until well incorporated.
2) On a sheet of plastic wrap, roll the pork mixture into a two inch diameter roll and place in the refrigerator for two hours or up to two days.
3) Remove from the refrigerator and cut roll into one to two inch pieces. Form into patties and grill over medium heat until the outside is well carmelized (3-5 minutes per side).
4) Remove and serve immediately.
