you'd figure all the sharp kids at MIT wouldn't be so easily amused. i'm sure it's slightly amusing the first time you see it, but to think that you guys clap, hoot, and holler every time you see him do it is a bit...disappointing.

@fyckthissht The top end of education tends to be very relaxed, because everyone is in the classroom with the understanding that everyone else wants to be there. It's only when you walk into places where the students don't want to be there that things become boring ;) Education can be fun.

I'm following his 18.02 on OCW and I've found it so nice that here in Italy we would react just the same way. I mean, "all the world is a town" we say here :)

@fyckthissht Dude, they're just people! In fact, I'd say most of them are 19 year old kids. What do you expect? I'm 36, and just finished taking Calc. 3 at County College of Morris. The kids in that class were easily amused as well. It's kind of funny that someone with a username of "fuck-this-shit" is bashing others for being easily amused.
