Hello in my video I will show you have to build a squirrel trap which is manualy shut (by you) I tryed to make it auto so the squirrel closes it but I couldn't get that to work :-( note it may take awhile for the squirrel to go into the trap, I have had this sitting outside for 2 weeks and I finaly got a squirrel in it today.

Homemade squirrel trap. You will need some wood. nails and chicken wire. I used [3] 10inch long boards for walls. 28inch long floorboard. 20inch roof. a 8inch small borad for the door gap so you can place a door there. 12inch tall door. lots of nails. [1] 7cm or bigger nail.

Also Update on video. I took the little box that holes the nail hole to the door out from inside the box and placed it on TOP of my trap so its easy to reset and doesnt need to be nailed to the roof of the trap. Please take note.

Squirrels will need time to get used to this trap. Might take a few days/weeks depending on how squirrels are in your area. Now I get them in the trap everyday.

nail on outside box used for? what nail? you mean on the top of the door? so I can lift the door open. Maybe your asking about the nails by the chicken wire? thats to hold the wire on the box so it doesnt come off

I dont like squirrels either. I got a pellet gun. BTW I made this myself noone helped me. You can buy the supplys for like $30 at a a hardware store. I had some left over chicken wire + old wood I used. Also you could make more with your supplys. Dont buy those $50 metal traps make your own for less + have more!
