yeah basically the pixies wouldnt be the pixies without either of them(or the other two), who u "prefer" is up to you, i personally love them both, and dont feel the need to pick one higher than the other, just more pointless, anal, online bitchin from people who cant be music lovers, coz they dont seem to appresheate just good tunes, dont get wrapped up in the bullshit. peace x

the pixies are great because of frank black mainly, but each member made it what it was. don't dispute that. the fact is, however, that it turns out frank black needs those bandmates more than kim did, because she did better on her own than he did.

...eh what? kim is in both bands, how can she be what makes one of them better than the other? what frank black has done since the pixies is irrelevant, what i'm saying is that the pixies are better than the breeders - half the breeders songs are great, the other half sound like pretentious art school projects. virtually everything the pixies did was gold

I do agree with you I just wanted to point out that it was not only Frank that made the pixies a great band. I apologize if I came on a little strong but so many people praise Frank Black for the greatness of the Pixies and I feel the need to point out that he sucks without Kim Deal. Its worse then the Gilmore, Waters arguement and I am always saying "What about Barrett?"
