I reckon he would've released it. Nugget seems to know pretty much everything about fishing, and I reckon he'd know that all flatty over 60cm are female, and are vital for breeding, so they should all be released.

As the guy in the video, I can actually attest to the fact she measured 93 on the bragmat. I caught her on a live Pike, around 40cm that she engulfed entirely. Thankfully I was able to free the hooks and she swam off happily after a few happy snaps.
I do love the armchair experts making their claims though... Hodgie and Oceanmanta... Tall Poppy Syndrome there lads? I'd suggest you buy a measuring tape should you try your hand at fishing... with judgement like that, I'd stick to watching footy
